don't forget to wipe off the blrw chicks after you hold them. I believe drool might cool them off too much!

I'll need many many towels! In the brooders until 4 weeks, then grow out pens in basement. I've got multiple coops outside after they're feathered out. All have lines run to them for 1-2 red lights. No worries, the babies will be well cared for! I'm not planning to totally fill the sportsman up anytime soon. Probably in late witnter I'll go for a large hatch of my own sex links and some legbars as they should be laying by then. I still have about 10 8 week old ladies I need to sell so may be at the Merrimack swap if they don't go sooner.

Gearing up for next season already. Sportsman incubator and gqf heated brooders are here. Just got some beautiful Foley BLRW eggs. Also some Lav Orp, Barred Cochin, GL Cochin and FBCM eggs. Should be a good spring with some nice stock!

Does anyone want any bantam size ducks? My mother has become the crazy duck lady. She has about 9 ducks that need homes. She would prefer that they not get eaten. Most are black with a white bib and look similar to these guys. They are healthy. If there is a swap in Brentwood or Plaistow I would be willing to go to my mothers house and pick them up if someone is interested in the ducks, otherwise they are on the North Shore of MA.
