I will have 2 eight week old bunnies, a trio of red turkens about 3 months old, 6 straight run turkens about 12 weeks old for sale tomorrow in Hooksett. Depending on how much I can squeeze into the car maybe a laying hen or two..... Maybe a couple bantam hens. See you tomorrow!

Wonderful last swap of the season. Great to chat with everyone. 2 of my beautiful Black Australorps found a perfect home along with a couple of my 10 week old pullets. It was great sitting around the fire pit, getting warm and eating yummy food from the vendors. I've already ordered some pullets to grow out for next year and will be hatching some unique breeds this winter. If you haven't spoken to me yet and have any specific breed requests for next season please PM me to let me know.

I would like to take a minute and thank Greg & Janet for another fabulous season. Thank you for all the work you do to make our swaps run smooth!
Hope everyone has a safe winter and we are looking forward to spring already!!!!

Now that I have chickens winter is going to go by even slower. The swaps I went to were so fun and the vendors are so informative. Sooooo when do they pick up again in the spring? :) (Enjoy your breaks!)

the first swap should be at the end of march. lots of the venders will be raising chicks indoors this winter. there should be a good selection of young pullets available right from the beginning of the season.

We had a very nice day today. the store built a fire pit for us. they even put benches around it so we could sit and keep warm. Greg brought wood. people were roasting marshmallows. the food people gave away some hotdogs so people could roast them on sticks over the open fire. greg said someone even roasted an apple over the flames.
our second food vendor sold hot soup, fried dough, coffee, and doughnuts. they cook the doughnuts, drain them, then sell them. we had HOT apple cider doughnuts. the first food vendor was making deep fried banannas or pineapple rings with chocolate sauce today. man were they good. greg suggested they give some to the vendors to try. we all got some.

Well..... I wasn't going to bring it up since you bought it. I thought you didn't want Greg to know?
