chicken swoolen crop? just vomited help!

hi my chicken is sick,,,droopy crown been sat in box all day. We thought maybe egg bound but then when we massaged her swollen crop she vomited yellow liquid

is she egg bound? she has been given access to cut grass so maybe she's eaten too much? help quick please

I think that she is way too full. Maybe she ate too much and now she can't keep it down. Is she drinking water? Maybe that will help.? Her food sack is probably too stuffed. Good luck

massage the crop gently
be sure she has GRIT
give a little mineral oil on soaked bread!
she has a sour crop!
don't let her eat any shavings or grass or hay or straw! only fine food until is passes

put some apple cider vinegar or ANY vinegar if you have it in the water for a week or two

She might have a sour crop, this happened to my chicken once and we took her to the vet.

She may have just eaten too much or her crop may be impacted. Isolate her and do not feed her anything. Give only water. Check on her in the morning. If her crop is still full then it is either impacted or sour. If it is empty she is fine and just over ate and can head back to the coop.

no!! don't give her bread!!! I took my chicken to the vet for sour crop and the vet said that the infection is caused by bacteria back up and yeast only makes it worse!! We tried giving her bread and oil and the vet said it was the worst thing to do!!
