Hi all,
I have a question about one of my chickens, I laid some duck eggs on the side of the nest where the chickens lay their eggs, i forgot to pick them up and when i went back later, one of the chickens had rolled 4 of the eight duck eggs in the nest. So i guess my question is, is my chicken ready to sit? I placed 4 plastic easter eggs in the nest 2 weeks ago but the smart farts know that their not real and keep kicking them out of the nest. I want to hatch some chicks, but with the plastic ones no body is sitting on them. So not sure if they are ready to sit.
