Chicken tiredness

My chicken has been acting strange today and not her self. She keeps on randomly sleeping and blinking a lot. She keeps on hiding in one of my shrubs but is eating fine and layed a normal egg this morning. I don't know if she is just tired or ill

Usually ill, mine act that way and are usually dead the next day, hopefully yours just needs a few days to feel better. Perhaps she has a slight something. sorry.

Many group members are posting about heat; temperatures in the 100s. Heat will cause problems like what you write about. Is this a possibility? Good luck.

Don't get too discouraged yet, she could rest for a few days and feel better.

Just went to check her and there's a second egg. She seems a lot happier now but the egg is very soft.
