It sort of looks like maybe she got something caught which made it swell and then it has come off by itself perhaps? Seems odd but looks quite clean and not infected from the photos, but hard to be sure. I think if you take care of it then it'll heal up well... maybe she'll always have a scar there but they seem to heal fantastically!
