chicken tractor on sloped yard.

I am getting a few bantams soon. I live in the mountains, needless to say my yard has slope. I was thinking a frame tractor. I wondered if the chickens need a level coop or if they care. Thanks for responding.

The slope of my yard isn't steep. Drops about 14inches per ten feet. I just fenced my whole backyard.

At least with the slope you described, it shouldn't take off down the hill, but your chickens may not like the angle when they're laying eggs in the nesting box.
You might come up with self-leveling nest box floors that would work on any angle, but it'd take some engineering and fabrication. If you do, I'd like to see it!

I wasn't shure if the angle would mess w them. I thought if nest boxes were deep enough they could lvl straw to there liking. Was hoping someone who had crossed this bridge would chime in.

They will level the straw in the nest boxes.
I'm just wondering about the roosts, they probably wouldn't be comfortable if one end of the roosts are lower than the other end.
But, you can solve that problem by turning the coop another direction.
e.g. if the pasture is higher at the west end and lower at the east then turn the coop so the roosts are pointing north and south so they will be level.
