Chicken tractor or coop...

Hi,

I´m new on BYC and from Denmark. I find your forum really interesting. We also have chicken forums i DK, but we useually rasie chickens in coops and do not have much experience with chickentractors, witch is what I´m thinking of building.

I´ve would like you to tell me about your experiences with chickentrator designs etc....

I´ve got about 10 hens and a rooster, so my tractor should have plenty of space for them...

Hi Lars,
Welcomd to BYC. I'm from the Netherlands originally but now live in the USA. Click on the word "Coops" at the top menu on this page and you'll see many examples of chickentractors. I don't have any, because my chickens free range in an area surrounded by electronet. I think the main issue with the tractors is weight and easy of moving them. You may want to look at the designs with that in mind.
