I built a chicken tractor, the last thing I need to do is put the wheels on. I'm having some trouble figuring out how to do this. I want for it to lay flush with the ground so the chickens can get fresh grass everyday. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Here is a link to a YouTube video (click here) on how to make wheels for you chicken tractor. It is basic cam design that will lay flat when stationary and you can raise when you want to move it. As nice as your tractor looks I am sure you can take this basic design and make it nicer. I also believe I would use pneumatic tires instead of the "push mower" wheels. Hope this helps.
Thanks,
Eric

I would add to say this, the wheels were my last part as well, if I could offer any advice, it would be only try to raise the coop, 3 inches or so, and and if you use a arm to pull the tractor up, mount the wheels at a vetical stud, so you can place the arm in a vertical postion when its raised up for movement, I designed a metal frame that I rolled around 180 degrees when lifted, but my wheels bowed in, so I moved them under the front of my coop, and stopped the rotation of the arm vertically or (in-line with the stud) this corrected my bow tremendously. Hope this helps.
