chicken tractor

    what size chicken wire or will be good to use or what do you all suggest I just want to do it right and thank all of you for trying to help me

    Hardware cloth. You want small spaced wire to keep reaching hands from getting to your flock. (as in raccoons). This also keeps wild birds out of the tractor so they don't eat their food. Chicken wire will not keep anything from getting to your chickens.

    I'm sure more experienced folks will let you know, but with all that I have read on this forum, hardware cloth is the only way to go.

    If ur making it really big u can use poultry wire and just use hardware cloth for the bottom 2 ft and extend the other foot out for an apron. That will make it predator proof for raccoons and digging. [​IMG]
