The Crazy Chicken Lady
I have very few stationary coops. I have about 12 tractors.
All of my birds move along with the tractor pretty well. They are grabbing at the new grass and chasing new bugs or wanting to see what is new all together. DH did push too fast on one of our 10X10's and the roo got a broken spur. He felt really bad and has slowed down. Our big tractors just are so easy to move once we put the wheels on that he forgot to give the birds time. We can put the wheels on and move the 10X10 in about 6 minutes.
The birds haven't any trouble as long as you don't get in a hurry. They really go after the new ground.
You can see all our designs on my BYC page or my website.
