Chicken Tractors

We will use tractor pens during the late spring till heavy frost. We have a horse barn to winter them in a stall.
Tractors get moved everyday, we just pull, but I love the wheels idea!
10x12' for the meaties, 3/4 covered with rippled panels, 1/4 double chicken wire. We have 50 chicks in this one.
8x8' for our layers, 1/2 paneled, 1/2 wired. We have 24 ladies + 1 Roo per pen, 5 nest boxes. They should start laying in a couple months.

Both have hinged tops for easy access.

Good Luck!

I built a modified A-frame tractor since it will provide additional headroom in the coop area While mine was based on a 5'x5' foot print you should be able to make it any size just refer to the following pictures for guide lines.
