Was just wondering if anyone has any chickens that have learned a trick or has a neat quirk not normally seen in a chicken?

Well...I don't know if it really qualifies as a trick or even anything particularly extraordinary....BUT....my BR pullet will catch treats in her beak that I toss from my hand

I never thought of that before! Interesting........ maybe I'll give it a try........

I heard some people train their chickens to go back to the coop without catching them after free-range time. They probably use a bell or a whistle to signal the chickens to march to the coop, or leave a trail of treats leading to the coop. One even sings to get them to the coop! When he stops singing, the chickens freeze. Very cool and fun!
