This was the first winter that I saw my girls do this. I noticed my one hen Fuz do it first, and the other chickens seemed to mimic her. As the sunlight shone on them, they saw their breath and tried to eat it. So cute

I'm pretty sure this is the funniest thing I've ever seen on BYC. Thier faces in those pictures are so hilarious! In the video its so funny that after she pecks at her breath the smacks her lips like "mmmmm, that was good." But she didn't even eat anything!
My rooster checkers sometimes tries to peck at dust particles floating in the air. I wonder how that's going for him.
