This is just the tunnel, haven't finished yet.What kind of fencing? Got any pics? Also,![]()
Thanks, I put a piece of wood in.They will probably be more comfortable walking on something that is not the wire.
If the tunnel will be level, maybe you can just lay a wood board in there for them to walk on.
If the tunnel will be at an angle, then a wood board with crosspieces or something else for better traction might work well.
Wow,thanks for the tip.I had a tunnel for a while a lot like yours. They walked in it just fine to get from the coop to a big run. I used garden staples to hold it in place.
Just a word of caution - we tried to let them out in it only when we were active in the yard, one day we checked in on them & saw a bobcat pounce on a chicken in the tunnel. He couldn't get the body out, but had no problem killing her before we could chase him off. Of all the things I imagined could happen, that wasn't one. Needless to say we no longer have a tunnel.
