Chicken VERY unwell after family trip

Put a towel around her and have someone hold her like a football with her head toward their back. Then you can check her vent. I would also administer calcium. @azygous

I read I can give her tums? If that's correct, how much should I give her?

Her vent area, tail feathers, stomach, some on her wings and a few on the back of her neck. How do I check for mites? Could this be multiple problems maybe?

The stomach being plucked makes me think she is trying to go broody, but this typically doesn't come with the other areas losing feathers. With the tailfeathers going as well, maybe this hen decided now is the time to molt?

How old is this hen? And if over 1 year, did she molt this recent winter?

Do 1 tums for now. @azygous will know how many, however I've never treated an egg bound hen, just read threads on it. On another thread, @Weeg said to give 1 tums, and I trust her. So start with that. You can pop it in her beak whole.

I don't see bugs but she was in the bath.

I got them February 2021 and they all molted over the winter. They lost feathers in a different pattern though, starting on their backs and tail feathers. I don't have a rooster but I don't know what broody really means.
