Chicken walking cross-legged, like she’s kinda drunk, Help!

Yes, you can do that. But the b's do have a strong taste, so you'll have to see if she'll eat it. I would mix it with a small amount of something moist, so it sticks to the food, you can use her regular feed mixed in a little water if she'll eat that. Being in molt and not feeling good, she may just be protesting being handled. All the new pinfeathers can be sensitive and uncomfortable and they often don't want to be touched. Sometimes they will start sleeping in nest boxes or under roosts rather than roosting because they don't want to be bumped or touched by others. If the pill didn't come back out, she likely swallowed it. If it's easier you can try wrapping her in a towel, like a burrito to hold her, then pull down on her wattles to open her beak, pop it in. You don't have to push WAY back, just enough that she swallows rather than spitting it out.

Thank you @coach723, all great tips. I definitely didn’t see the pill come out and she insisted on drinking water after (she’s been drinking SOO much water) so I’m guessing it went down. Hadn’t thought about the bad taste but I was planning on picking up cat food tomorrow so if the pill continues to be a problem I’ll try to mix it in with cat food. I’ve been giving her tuna and scrambled eggs but she’s really not interested in much, other than lactose free yogurt-she loves the yogurt.

GM,

I posted yesterday about my hen who is going through a hard molt. She had been walking funny a couple of days ago but this morning it’s more pronounced. She crosses one leg in front of the other when she’s walking, causing her to sort of walk to the side. Does anyone have any experience with this?? Could it be from that hard molt?? I’m posting some pics of her, though obviously cannot show the walking
This morning I gave her oatmeal with some gelatin powder and powder baby parrot formula mixed into it-she’s barely picked at it.
All those poking things coming in on the legs and abdomen, I'd probably walk cross-legged too.

I'd see that she's eating her normal nutritionally balanced feed, give a little extra protein a few times a week (egg, fish, beef). Cut out things like oatmeal, instead, if you want her to have a treat, give some kale or fresh greens.
Vitamins won't hurt every few days either.
