My best advice is do not own or have any chickens or live stock or any animals on your property cause it will seep down into the water table and then uddenly someone is sick from drinking the contaminated water, 100' or more from a well will do just fine for I just asked the well guy who is going to drill us a new well about chickens and all and he said 100' or more away from the well.
