Chicken wattle keeps getting stuck

I don't think so. She has gone to bed now.

Easy fix! Just cut it off. No more wattle in the mouth.

No she does not shake her head violently. She is an ex- battery hen and she has always been blind in one eye, and struggles to see out the other. The darkening of the comb could be the picture, however she does have a couple of cuts on it from when a chicken pecked her. She does not have an injury on the wattle.

Just cut it off if your worried about it .

It seems to come out of her mouth when she is eating. If i think she i struggling to eat drink etc. I will think about removing it, however at the moment it doesn't seem to be causing her much discomfort.

I wouldn't cut it off unless it bothers HER!

How long have you had her? I'm wondering if it's some sort of stress reaction, like biting fingernails, due to a new environment.
