This is our 7 week old Australorp, Lady. This week, we noticed all our girls were showing wattle skin (super exciting!) and some of them are even turning pink in their combs. But Lady's right wattle seems to be turning really red really fast. Is this something to be worried about, or is she just an early bloomer?

Welcome!  A very red wattle and comb at seven weeks of age sounds 'rooish'  to me.  Pictures would be good, but Lady might actually be a laddie.  Mary

Lady is definitely a female (no spurs and small comb yet). All her sisters are also turning pink, but in their combs. My fiancé thinks it has something to do with the amount of outside time they're getting now that's nice enough to take them out... I've tried to include a picture of our Lady
