chicken weight.

Regular laying mash and crack corn to keep up body heat in the winter. And a hand full of oyster shell every week. Then free roam from sun up till dark I put a heater in with them thru the winter as it got down to single digits this past winter. They do let me pet them from time to time. they are very friendly.

treats are grass and insects. No table food. also they had no tail feathers when i got them and did not lay eggs. About month after I got them they started to grow tail feathers and lay eggs. Very large eggs. Hence the molt thinking.

Well, I guess they could have been breeder birds from the CX industry,
thus the possible molting and laying after just a month.
Any idea what they weighed when you got them, or have pics form then?
