Here are the pics the australorp is the big hen of her own coop but they don’t have any loss of feathers only her. Apart from them I have another coop with 4 BO and 2 welsummers there’s 2 BIG ones that dont got no missing feathers but one gets picked on sometimes by one of the welsummers on her comb and both welsummer and 2 BOs have loss of feathers from pecking I assume saw no mites tomorrow I’ll give another check the skinny BO gets picked on by one of the wels and the wel that pecks the BO gets pecked by her big sister wel but of the feather damage/loss comes from my rooster he was so aggressive with them. That most of them get scared when I approach them thinking I’m the rooster that they squat. And one chicken when she pooped she got her feathers dirty since the poop rubbed the feathers so we cut some off so it didn’t get dirty.I don't know. If you can, check your chicken before buying. Depends on the price.
You should check the vent, fluff (the puffy underside), and under the wings. You should also look around the neck area.
