i have a chicken with a toe bent to the right on her right foot it seems to be recent like today or last night she cannot stand on the foot because it causes her pain do i just bend the toe back in place or what?

Bump.

(I think you might get recs to splint it when someone comes along who has been thru this. My hen Annie has such a toe but it was already like that when I got her and doesn't seem to be a source of pain now - and it was too late to straighten it....)

Edited to say maybe some aspirin in her water will help her with pain for the time being (5 regular [325mg] aspirin [no substitutes] crushed per gallon of water) .

Best I can think of is to add asprin to the water and then try to straighten and splint it back straight so it can heal. Confine her so she can't use it and can rest. I've had chicks with bent toes, but they were genetic mishaps so not actually broken. Hope you can fix it and all goes well.
