Chicken with chronic diarrhea

Similarly I have a chicken who's had runny poop for about 8 months or longer now but is otherwise healthy. It just gets all stuck on her feathers, poor girl. She's also not laying, but eating, scratching, drinking fine. It started with a really severe molt (I thought she was going to die, she looked so bedraggled and sad), but she's feathered out again and happy, but for the lack of eggs and runny poop. Any other ideas?

Did your hen ever start pooping normally? If so, what was your "cure"...? I have a very similar situation: One of my 2-3 year old hens started having chronic diarrhea (and also stopped laying) several months ago. Her comb and wattles look good, her legs look nice a glossy, her feet look healthy (even if the skin looks slightly pink, but maybe that's due to the cold temps we're having?), and she seems active and "normal" in every other way. She is currently molting, which just started a week or two ago. But the diarrhea started loong before that, so I'm not sure the two are correlated. Anyway, would be interested in hearing about any progress/resolution to your (hen's) problem! Thanks. :)

I also have a buff orp that has had diarrhea since day 1. I have tried every single treatment you all have described and no help. She does not have vent gleet. She runs, eats, plays, lays eggs and is otherwise healthy and happy. I clean her every few days, tried every new or different feed and fresh food available with NO change. What I have noticed is she doesn't squat to go...she literally just stands up and and goes all over herself. 🙄🤦 She maintained during a very warm summer, has been awesome and is laying through the winter. I've come to the conclusion that she's 1. A messy pooper 😂 and 2. Might just have an issue like a human ie: IBS...I have no real way to afford to pay the bet to know for sure atm...and unless she declines in health I won't push it. I have had chickens my entire life. Was raised on a chicken farm. This is my first encounter such as this. I'll take it one day at a time and until we see something bad-I'll let her live her 'dirty' way.
