Only 2 of 9 strains of cocci affecting chickens will cause the blood in poops. Treatment with the amprollium will not harm her at all, since it is pretty mild, and is the same ingredient (only smaller doses) as in medicated chick feed. I don't know much about toltrazuril, other than it works well. Sulfdimethoxine and sulfamethazine are antibiotics, and must be given exactly at the right dosage or they can be toxic. Do you have access to a vet?
yes there are vets here. when i had to take them as chicks to the vet i didn't find it was all that useful (they had stickfast fleas) and i thought because my chicken isn't acting sick there might not be much to go with to diagnose.
should i take her to the vet? there's also a place that sells animal treatment things as when i went to buy wormer the lady initially thought it was coccidiosis. then when i showed her a photo she said it was worms.
could my other silkie have coccidiosis too if this one does?
