Chicken with goopy eye

Hello,
My chicken this morning has an eye that appears to have a goopy type of liquid on it, and frequently shuts completely, or is squinted. Does anyone know what this might be/how to deal with it? Thank you!

Can you post pictures? Is the eye cloudy? It could be some kind of eye worm. Sometimes you can see the worms under the lid.
