Chicken with heterochromia

Thought you guys might find this interesting. One of my Jersey Giant/Production Red crosses has heterochromia.

She's white with black spots, so I'm assuming one of those "spots" just happens to be in her eye.

Whatever it is, I think it's neat.

Hmmm, never thought of it that way, as one of the spots just being in the eye. I have three Blue Slate turkeys. One has the typical brown eyes, but two of them have blue eyes, intensely blue eyes, with a few spots of the typical brown eye color mixed in. It makes sense that these are just an extension of the slate spotting.
