chicken with loose stools and vomit???

My hen has loose stools and a comb that is flopping and purple in color rather than the usual red. I picked her up to look at her (she is still walking around) and water poured out of her beak all over the ground. Yuck! what could be wrong? I am treating the water starting now with duramycin-10. We had another chicken die a few weeks ago and she was all swollen and immobile for the most part.

I am no chicken illness expert. However, I was following a thread yesterday from someone who's chicken had the same symptoms. The general agreement was that the hen had something called sour crop or obstructed crop. I would suggest doing a search for terms like this. I tried to find the thread but because I didn't comment, I could no reference it again. Good lcukk. I hope things turn out well.
