Chicken with no tail feathers?

I’ll show pics of when it was a born to now at 5 weeks old. We know it’s part cochin but what chicken doesn’t have tail feathers? It looks so funny compared to the other chicks! We hatched it from our own chickens eggs and non of our chickens has tails like this one! ‍♀

thats strange! must be a slow grower.. my 3/4 week old hasn’t any tail feathers either! not to worry! just make sure it doesnt have any disease to slow its growth and just wait a couple weeks! my 7 week cochin has a giant bush worth of tail and feet feathers!

The other 5 have nice tail feathers but looking back this one didn’t have much from the time it came out. I didn’t know if anyone knew of chicken breeds with short to no tails feathers!

might just be a little roo! cockerels definitely feather slowler than my pullets (my experience)

I agree...it's probably just a cockerel breed that's slow to develop (tail feathers).
