chicken with no voice

what would cause my hen to not be able to make a sound ,and she tries hard. no sound she even trys to crow no sound. janie

Sorry that I haven't responded. To be honest, I don't know that I can really help. Hopefully, someone else with more chicken medical knowledge will see this post.
