Hello, I have a silkie pullet and a couple off weeks ago I noticed she started sneezing a lot. I decided to just leave it for a while and see if it fixes itself but now when I look closely her nose looks really watery and sometimes almost blocked. When she clucks it sounds a bit raspy as well. None of the other chickens are showing any symptoms so I don’t think it’s contagious? Is there anything I can do or give to her?
Thanks

Do you see any bubbles/foam in an eye or a swollen eyelid? If not, it may be a virus, such as infectious bronchitis. If you do see either of those, it may be mycoplasma (MG.) Make sure that your ventilation is good, with no ammonia odor or musty smell. MG can respond to antibiotic treatment such as Tylosin or Tylan, but viruses have to run their course over a month or so. If her nostril gets clogged, clean it with saline or a drop or two of hydrogen peroxide and a wooden toothpick, but be careful not to damage the nostril.
