Chicken with swollen eye

Hi everyone, my sweet chicken Pancake's area over her eye is very swollen, and I hope it isnt a sinus infection. Can anyone confirm what it might be? Does anyone know how to treat it? I have her separated from the rest of the flock, and I gave her a shot of rooster booster. The first picture is of her swollen eye, and the second is her normal eye to compare. Thanks

Hopefully the swelling is from injury. I see a little scabbing/minor scratches on Pancake's comb on that side.

I'd put a little Terramycin eye ointment or Original Neosporin in and around the eye twice a day for a few days to see if that helps reduce some of the swelling. Flush/rinse with saline as needed.

Update: Swelling has gone done slightly after giving her the rooster booster. After that, not much improvement. Will it stay like this?

Have you treated the eye with ointment?
