Chicken with THICK legs

Are her hock joints swollen as well? Mycoplasma synovitis (MS) can cause swollen ankles and hocks. That is a bacterial infection of the joints, and may cause mild respiratory symptoms, or none at all. Osteopetrosis or marble leg syndrome is a type of lymphoid leukosis, and the legs are thick and hard. Is this hen mixed with any other breeds, such as a cornish?
