chicken with worms

You have to de-worm chickens if they have worms or they will get overloaded with worms and die. Do a search on chicken de-worming and you will find out what to do

How do you treat chickens that have worms? Are the eggs okay to eat when the hens hnave worms??
You need to worm your chickens with valbazen liquid cattle/sheep wormer or safeguard liquid goat wormer. Once you worm your birds, there's a 24 day egg withdrawal period from start to finish.
Administer either product orally undiluted, use a syringe without a needle. Either wormer can be purchased from Jefferslivestock.com or call them. They ship quickly.
Dosage for valbazen is orally; 1/2cc for standard size birds, 1/4cc for smaller birds. Redose again in 10 days.
Dosage for safeguard is orally; 1cc for giants, 3/4cc for large fowl, 1/2cc for standards, 1/4cc for smaller birds. Redose again in 10 days.
