You might try giving her vitamins, some birds don't absorb them well and or its genetic handed down from the parents. If the parents struggled with deficiencies, so do the offspring. Vitamin B deficiencies especially can cause severe weakness in the legs. And if course if they are lacking Bs, no doubt they are lacking other stuff. Her appetite is still good, she is eating, drinking and laying well. Still not walking, more like hobbling, but she will stand the entire time she is eating.
I still don’t feel a dislocation or break and cannot check for bruising since her leg coloring is black.
Still a waiting game but thank you so much for checking in!! Am I missing checking anything?
I have been adding NutriDrench to her water. Today she took a few steps with the assistance of her flapping wings. I am hopeful she is starting the turn the cornerYou might try giving her vitamins, some birds don't absorb them well and or its genetic handed down from the parents. I use Enfimil Poly Vi Sol liquid baby vitamins, (without iron) these are given orally under the tongue once a day. Because the mouth is able to absorb these, they hit the blood stream in minutes.

Make sure to get this type without the iron, chickens can't tolerate the excess iron. It comes with a syringe, I would give her about .4ml so about a 1/4 of a ml once daily, preferably morning, but no later than late afternoon. (B vitamins might keep her awake close to bed time.)
This can't hurt and if this is the issue you should start to see improvement in a couple few days.
Fabulous! Sounds like it could be a vitamin deficiency, keep up the vitamins for a while!I have been adding NutriDrench to her water. Today she took a few steps with the assistance of her flapping wings. I am hopeful she is starting the turn the corner![]()
Poor girl.We tried splinting but she is still walking on her hocks but managing to get around. If she is improving it is a very little bit at a time. She is so sweet-I pet her and she talks with me. I am hoping she continues to improve
