Hi everyone. I am new to the forum but have been raising a small group of hens (3 or less) for about 10 years. My last hen needed a flock of buddies so I got 5 new chicks. They are now 4 1/2 months old and one of them happens to be a rooster. He has been busting out his crow as early as 4:30. I've been reading some of the reviews and I made a Velcro collar that muffles him a bit. He starts at 5 am and doesn't crow as loud (or maybe I am just getting used to it).

They say those collars muffle the crow quite a bit. So it is possible it is doing it's job!
