Hi — Decide to try chickens and love them. Have 5 hens and 4 roosters. Ugh. 3 Goldnen Lace Wyandotte’s and 2 Marian’s (I think). They are all relative friendly, although two roosters are a tad aggressive. (We had to re home the MOST aggressive rooster hat just would NOT give up and kept attacking me EVERY day. He has his own hens now and is being wrangle by a true rooster handle.) Have 9 chickens and 3 guineas. They all get along for now. They free range every single day. Have their own coop; have their own run completely protected with top, floor and 4 sides as well, so they always have a choice to be in or out. They probably have 4 acres for woodland roaming. Yes, I have too many roosters but didn’t know better just starting out. The Cochins roosters are very nice and docile —the sleek rooters are hellions. Personal Fowl Farm — Hillsborough, NC.
