I am thinking of getting chickens in the future and I have a place that could possibly work but it’s near where the laundry room vent is and I’m not sure if it’s a good idea.

I assume you mean the dryer vent. That would be a terrible place to put the coop as it will regularly belch out hot humid air. That's never good to add to a coop or run!

That’s what I thought! Also it’s too small for them in my eyes anyway!
