Well of my double trouble and twice as nice one is home sick today...just got the other on the School bus...and checked on my chickies...had one on the nest but she got up before laying...guess I disturbed her...I saw a long skinny milky gray snake last night outside the barn...a rat snake I think..so I gave the barn a good going over..no snakes so far but it creeped me out to read that at Murray mcmurrry farms he had a rat snake curled around the base of his laying hen...I hate snakes and I know they are good for rodent problems but if I'm given the chance I will seperate its thoughts by lopping its head off...I have children and their safety comes first...second if a snake kills one of my ladies it will warrant outright war...I agree that its best to relocate but I'm not touching it...so unless someone has an extra snake catcher they wanna give away....he's on my radar

Every snake we see poisonous or not it goes to the grave yard literally as in we kill them...
a town we live near has out lawed the killing of a very poisonous snake and it is like well who cares about a fine if you are in danger of getting bit you or someone else or an animal that snake has to die! (I am a snake hater too btw lol)

Now that's a crazy insaine law...yeah I'd take the fine...this snake was really fast..I turned to get the hoe and it was solid gone
