Chickenopolis

Bonjour,

Very new to keeping chickens as I don't have any yet. I am retired and live in SW France have selected an area and assembled the Coop. I plan to have 4 at first but have not decided on a breed or breeds. Probably go for 4 of the same.
They will have to share 20 acres with 3 donkeys, one cat and various other wildlife (deer, hares etc). Look forward to getting all the help and tips from the various forums.

Bonjour! Bienvenue! There is another new member in France, in the Dordogne region if I remember correctly (which I probably don't).

Marans are nice chickens you might look at getting. I have one, she's lovely.
