So vie got three pullets just about ready to start laying. (its my first time so I'm not exactly sure...)
One Rhode Island Red, and American Game, and one unknown (dark brown plumage, similar shape to the American Game but slightly smaller legs and neck)
They all get along well so far. I introduced the RIR to the other two almost a month ago, along with another RIR which I lost to either a hawk or it wandering away or a chicken thief. There weren't really any problems other than the American establishing herself as the boss. She pecked a bit at the RIRs but they got out of her way and she would usually leave them alone after that.
Soooo, I'm thinking of getting one more, maybe a leghorn or another RIR. I can't get two since my city permits only 5 animals (I have a dog too)
Could I successfully integrate another single pullet? How hard/easy would it be???
Thanks!!
