Hi! So, my girls had their eyes half closed and were always inside their little house (provisional coop) all the time, sleepy. They told me it was very possible that they had coryza, so I gave them antibiotics for a week. They’re 4, and 3 of them are completely ok now. The other is still inside almost all the time, although she’s been out walking and eating for some minutes today. I’ll post the pictures I took today, after a week of medicines. I don’t know if her eyes look weird or it’s just she’s got black “circles” because she’s just that colour, black and white.

I wouldn’t worry about the dark around the eyes. I don’t think that your chickens had coryza. They would look much sicker and have swollen goopy eyes. It could be mycoplasma gallisepticum (MG,) another respiratory disease, especially since they seem to be better after the oxytetracycline that you posted about giving in your previous thread. I hope they continue to get better.

Thank you! Yes they’re much better. Maybe this one is just having a hard time to adapt to the new environment, but the others definitely look healthy, they run and explore a lot. So I’ll just let her be. Let’s see if she starts imitating the others and goes out more often.
