I got my chicks today! They all look healthy and happy. I'm working on their names. I see the personalities already. My Cockoo Maran is my lover and chatty Cathy. I think her name will be Delicious. My speckled sussex sleeps more that the other 4. It's the first day.

Delicious is peeping for some attention right now!

u should make a theme for their names, like naming them all from their personality`s.
 

Well, here I am a year into my chicken process. I love it! The eggs are fantastic! My Cuckoo Marans turned out to be a roo. He was sold to a local kid. I'm increasing my small flock tomorrow. I found some cool stuff! A local lady is hatching Braekels and Cream Legbars. I'm all about the eggs. I get my friends to come visit me with the promise of a carton of eggs. Saves me on gas! Plus eveyone wants to check up on the girls. I'm also going to snag a Black Marans. I am chicken obsessed!

This is my set up. The girls get to foraged the grass too. The grass has turned into clover?!?!
