Chickens And duckes

Can you have chickens and ducks in the same pin???? THANKS

This probably belongs in a different thread, but chicks and ducklings should not be in the same pen because ducks are wet and damp chicks tend to get sick and die. I am not sure about adult ducks and chickens.

We brood our chickens and ducks separately because like kem saidm ducks are just too wet and sloppy for chicks. That and ducks get big very quickly. Once everyone is feathered out they share a coop just fine. It's a little bit of a hassle but we found if we keep the water outside the inside of the coop stays dry and clean.
