I have 6 chicken-babies (unknown breed) and two pekin ducklings. Can they be raised together ? i know that my ducks like water so they tend to splash around a bit but i’m worried about the ducks getting the chickens dirty. currently they are all in my garage until they are big enough with going outside permanently (they go outside during the day and come inside at night) but should i separate them?

they can be raised together, but make sure to accommodate for both. I would feed them all flock raised instead of chick grower. Have a spot for the chicks to escape from the ducklings, because the ducklings will get much bigger much faster and you don’t want the chicks to be squashed :)

Thank you ! are there any worries about the chickens getting wet ?

Just make sure that the water is deep enough for the ducklings to dunk their heads in but shallow enough for the chicks to not drown (that’s their favorite hobby). How big is the brooder?

It is pretty big, they all have enough room to space out about 5 feet apart and not touch anything.
