This coming spring will be the first spring I've had free range chickens that will have access to my fruits and veggies. Before I had a fenced in garden, but this coming spring I'll have 16 - 4'x8' raised bed gardens. I'm assuming they will be jumping up in them and eating my plants.

Sooo ... I guess I'll need to put up some fencing around each and every one... ?

Anyone with similar experience? Any advice at all would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I have a few gardens spread around.
The large garden 50x70' is surrounded by electric netting so not only does it keep the chickens out, it also keeps everything else out.
My smaller gardens are surrounded by the black plastic mesh netting.

Don't know if this will work, but I saw a post on a friends blog that she covered the rows of plants with wire and let the chickens have access to the area between to weed the garden for her. Just a thought if the plants are in rows.
