Can chickens and goats be kept in the same areas? Chickens have access to the goat pens is there any danger for either one goat or chicken?

The reason I am asking is My neighbor has both chickens and goats and she has lost several goat in the last few weeks and it is being blamed on the chickens. goats get sick and die any Ideas about this?

I have three goats as well and am about finished with my coop. Would like to know of any goat/chicken issues as well. Thanks for asking tenmore.

I have had both, never been an issue, except chickens steal goat feed.

It is my understanding that it is a different coccidi that affects various animals. But when I worm one species, I get them all, same for coccidiosis.

Chickens and goats together here, only concern is keeping the goats out of the chicken feed. However I would be concerned about your neighbor loosing goats recently in an adjacent yard?

Goats and chickens, sheep and chickens, horses and chickens...etc. If you can tolerate sharing food it's all good. We have a couple of whether sheep and they could care less about each other. We want to get a donkey next year because they make great flock protectors they'll chase off fox and coyotes from what I've been told.
