I have a small flock (5 girls) that I like to let run free in our backyard. I've been hesitant to fertilize in this area because I wouldn't want to taint my chickens or their eggs for that matter. I was wondering is there a safe fertilizer to use on grass where chickens free roam? I've been looking at Revive. It says it's organic and since it's a liquid I thought maybe it would fast dissolving. Is this a good or bad idea?

Welcome to BYC.
If it is just fertilizer and not weed killer as well a little bit won't do a lot of harm Still a larger amount of fertilizer would not be to healthy for them. You could hold off until just before it rains so the rain washes the fertilizer in. Or just keep them off that area for a week till it goes in. A liquid would dissipate fastest, so that might be the way to go for a area that you have to fertilize and let the chickens be in quickly. If the water bill wouldn't be to bad you could run a sprinkler.

Leaving the lawn clippings on the lawn and chicken poops are some of the best fertilizer you can get.....why use chemicals?

Revive is a proprietary recipe, which means they are not going to tell you just what's in it. Even 'organic' things can cause harm, I'd not add it to the plants that chickens might eat.
