Chickens and neighbors question

IMO, anyone who owns animals have the responsibility to keep those animals on their own land.

If someone were to let a dog run and it came onto your land and attacked your chickens you'd be plenty mad at that dog's owner, wouldn't you?

But if you're letting your animals run you have little right to complain if someone else let their run.

Remember that old saying, good fences make good neighbors.

Another ditto for good fences make good neighbors. Fencing in the property would be my number one priority after moving in. A couple of dogs could kill your entire flock at any time, whether they were on your property or not. Best to safeguard your animals by keeping them in and other animals out.
