chickens and onion greens?

Can/will chickens eat onion greens? It's not on the chicken treat chart but I figured I'd ask.
 
try it and see... I ended up throwing in some of the scraps from when I cut up any onion along with cucumbers and tomatoes and the only thing not touch was the onions. I don't even think they moved them.. but the cukes and tomatoes were gone!
 
I don't think the Onions would be bad for them, but the eggs could come out tasting like onions.

But as was mentioned, why not try it? Who know, you might like the flavor of "pre-seasoned" eggs.
